Our love story is only possible because of the Man of Love—Jesus.

We first met in the most unexpected way, at a small house church gathered inside a humble trailer in a quiet corner of Tennessee. It was not a place one would expect a love story to begin, yet it was there—amid simplicity and surrendered hearts—that God began writing the first chapter of ours, reminding us that His light is never limited by its surroundings.

One evening, everything quietly shifted. Cynthia was sitting on the porch late at night, not feeling well as she waited for Nurse Danyel. In that vulnerable and ordinary moment, Thomas took the opportunity to sit down beside her. What began as concern turned into conversation, and conversation soon gave way to connection. Under the stillness of midnight, guarded hearts softened, laughter surfaced, and a genuine friendship began to spark—one neither of us yet realized would grow into something far greater.

As time passed, God worked patiently in each of our hearts. There were seasons of seeking and seasons of waiting. In His kindness, He confirmed His plan—not always loudly, but faithfully—through peace, perseverance, and even dreams.

Where certainty came easily to one, faith carried the other. Through patient pursuit and unwavering trust in the Lord, what once felt uncertain became beautifully clear. Again and again, God revealed that this love was not by chance, but intentionally woven by His hand.

Along the way, love grew in simple, sacred moments. Through patience, steadfast pursuit, and trust in the Lord, God confirmed what He had been writing all along. This union is a testimony of His grace—a love refined by faith and sustained by His goodness.

As we stand here today and step into marriage, we do so with grateful hearts, knowing that Jesus has been our foundation from the very beginning. We trust that the same Man of Love who brought us together will continue to lead us, strengthen us, and walk with us all the days of our lives.
